The people behind the kit
Miles Kingsbury
DesignerHelen's brother and the designer behind the company's equipment. He studied mechanical engineering at Brunel, worked in design roles at Thorn Lighting and Instron, and joined the family business in 1987. He is also a known cyclist and bike designer, and holds the world human-powered land speed record for 47 miles in an hour.
Jim Keating
Technical DirectorStarted at Melford Electronics on its monitor range and joined Portaprompt in 1984. He led many technology developments, including integrating WinDigi with ENPS news systems, robotic conference poles and IP systems.
Jon Hilton
Sales and Marketing ManagerJoined in January 2014 after more than 30 years at Sony Broadcast in sales, marketing and senior management roles in the UK and across Europe.
